Attendance Information:

If your child is absent please send in a note upon their return to school for the absence to be considered excused. You may also email our attendance email at jjisattendance@colchesterct.org

After nine absences (excused or un-excused) a doctors note is required for the absence to be considered excused.

School Office Hours

Please be aware that the office hours for Jack Jackter Intermediate School are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Any calls or voicemails received outside of these hours will be returned the following school day.

Hotspots

Explore France

5th grade students in the Explore France HOT Spot had fun using modeling clay to demonstrate what they've learned about French culture, including popular foods, sports, and current events! Check out the tiara that was stolen from the Louvre museum!

All About Animals

Fourth graders in the All About Animals HOT Spot became animal experts! Each student researched a favorite animal and created an interactive poster or detailed drawing to share what they learned. Students explored habitats, diets, adaptations, and fun facts. We are so proud of their creativity and hard work!
