Chromebook Insurance

Chromebook insurance is now available in the MyPayments portal https://www.colchesterct.org/payment-portal-home
The portal will close on September ​30.

Insurance is $25 per year and covers:

• two accidental broken screens per year (cost without insurance $40 each)
• one repair/replacement from accidental damage from drops or spills (cost without insurance up to $300)
• one keyboard or mouse replacement (cost without insurance $20-$30)

Note that insurance does not cover distruction or defacing of a device.

This insurance is HIGHLY recommended to ensure student devices are in good working condition for school.
