Congratulations! We are excited to share that Zyyear has been selected as a Week 2 nominee for USA Football’s 2026 Heart of a Giant Award, presented by the New York Giants and Hospital for Special Surgery.
As a Week 2 nominee, Zyyear will have the opportunity to share their story and compete for the chance to advance as one of the program’s finalists. Six weekly winners will advance as finalists and receive a $1,000 equipment grant for their high school football program. Additional finalists will also be selected through the program’s honorable-mention process.
Week 2 Voting Information
Voting opens: Thursday, September 17 at 5:00 p.m.
Voting closes: Sunday, October 4 at 11:59 p.m.
Week 2 Finalist Announced: Monday, October 5 at 12:00 p.m.
